Date Night Outfit – Valentine’s Day

I am sorry for the delay in this post but I have been dealing with a sick baby. Valentine’s Day is just four days away and I thought I would share my idea of a date night outfit. Before I get into details, I will say that this was very hard for me to do. I am now 5 months post partum and still have 18lbs of baby weight left on me. It took a lot of courage to have these photos taken so please be nice!

The number one reason I chose this Women’s Soprano Lace-Up Shift Dress was because of how it did not cling to the body. I am insecure of my weight gain so I wanted something classy but not form fitting. I loved how the sleeves were flared out on the ends. For some reason, sleeves like that always reminds me of old Elvis Presley music videos. (I love me some Elvis y’all).

If you don’t like the blush pink they do have this same dress in beige, but since it is for Valentine’s Day I thought the pink was perfect. The dress is extremely well made and you don’t have to worry about wearing a slip with it because it already has one. As for shoes, anything nude looks perfect with pink. I chose wedges because they not only cute but comfortable. However if you were into a normal heel then I would suggest these. Plus, they are on sale right now and make sure you use the code SWIPE10 to get an additional 10% off your purchase of any clearance item.
