5 Awesome Meal Prep Companies In Middle Tennessee

Most of you may already have seen an increase in meal prep companies in your area. Nashville is of no exception. So after trying two different companies, I decided to branch out and look at what all Middle Tennessee has to offer. I found quite a few but I narrowed them down to five that really stood out to me. Below I will list all of the information that I found useful.

Murfreesboro Munch

(Best for those in the Murfreesboro area who live an active lifestyle)

  • Owned by a couple who both live very active and healthy lifestyles.
  • Minimum of ten meals.
  • They offer a 6 week munch challenge, which includes a meal guide and workout plan for $70.
  • Orders must be placed by Friday for Sunday pickups and by Monday for Wednesday pickups.
  • They do offer a delivery option.
  • Pricing ranges from $5 – $10 and include 4 and 6oz meals.
  • Offer breakfast, lunch, dinner and custom meals.

Honestly, we LOVE Murfreesboro Munch. I was a bit skeptical at first but the food we have ordered has been phenomenal. I love the amount of variety you can choose from. We have personally not tried the breakfast menu they have but everything on the menu looks delicious. The only thing that we have found difficult is the late pickup time. Having a ten month old and driving 45 minutes for pickup at 7pm is a bit hard. Considering by the time we get home it is his bed time. However, it truly has been worth it because of the quality of food we are getting. I highly recommend them! Plus, I think they are a perfect option for those who are in college. Eating these clean meals will definitely keep you from gaining that freshman 15!

(Best for those in the Mount Juliet area who are wanting a clean and healthy meal).

  • They have partnered with local farms to give their buyers premium organic meals.
  • Veteran owned.
  • Meals include breakfast, custom meals and snacks.
  • Pickup location is at the Nutrishop in Mount Juliet.
  • Must order a minimum of ten meals.
  • Cutoff is 1pm on Thursday for meals to be available for pickup on Sunday between 12-4pm.
  • Pricing ranges from $1.50 – $10 and include sizes of 4, 6 and 8oz.

Me and Matthew both really enjoyed using PrepVida. I loved knowing that the company had partnered with our local farms. I also loved that pickup was in the middle of the day. It gave us plenty of time to do our other errands and be home still at a decent time. I did notice that the website was not running correctly and maybe it is due to orders being placed. Other than that we never had any problems with our orders and the food was pretty good.

Dinner Belle Nashville

(Best for those wanting to stay simple and healthy)

  • Meals include breakfast jars, salad jars and dinners.
  • The company uses local farms, giving you a healthy homegrown taste to your meals.
  • Free delivery to Nashville, Brentwood and Franklin on $60 orders with the code freedelivery60.
  • Receive 30% off your first order with code feelslikethefirsttime.
  • You must place your order by Thursday for Monday deliveries.
  • Pricing ranges from $19-$63 depending on the number of people.
  • You can choose either a meal for two or for four.

The first thing that stood out to me about this company is how cute of a name they have. Their website matches them so perfectly. It gives off this southern style and really represents the areas in which they work. The only thing I wish is that they could expand their delivery locations. Overall, I love their business design and think it is a great option for those who are in the Nashville, Brentwood and Franklin area.

Gourmet To You

(Best option for seniors who can not cook as often. Or those who want a personal chef dinner delivered).

  • Meals are cooked by two well known chefs.
  • Two weeks of dinner and sides for 1 – $225. This includes five meals and two servings of each. Delivery fee is included.
  • Two weeks of dinner and sides for 2 – $375. This includes five meals and four servings of each. Delivery fee is included.
  • Meal options – beef, pork, poultry, vegetarian, seafood and special diet selections.

I have not tried Gourmet To You but I do plan on recommending them. Their website was easy to navigate and they literally have every dinner option you could think of! I personally would probably not use themmyself just because I love to cook. However, I can see a lot of people using them for multiple reasons. First being those who are seniors and can no longer cook for themselves. Another would be the full time working mom who just wants to come home to a clean house and still have a gourmet style dinner without having to do the dirty work. Or maybe you just hate cooking all together. Check them out and let me know your thoughts!

Eat Well Nashville

(Best option for those who work or live in the downtown area).

  • Meals are cooked in a commercial style kitchen.
  • The packaging is reusable and washable.
  • $5.95 delivery fee or pickup on Monday’s for free.
  • No order minimum or maximum.
  • They drop off at your home or office and you do not have to be home for delivery.
  • All orders must be placed by Friday at 11am
  • Meals have a best by date label on them.
  • Meal options – paleo, vegan, vegetarian, gluten free and Whole30.
  • Serve breakfast, lunch and dinner.
  • Pricing ranges from $4.95 – $11.95.

I personally have not used them but I know quite a bit of people who have and they love their food. Their website was extremely easy to navigate and they had multiple options for different types of food. I also liked how they have no order minimum or maximum. Most companies make your purchase a certain amount. The pricing wasn’t too bad considering the quality and amount of food you are purchasing.

Overall, I hope this helped any of you who have been wanting to try something new. Like I said there are plenty of different companies to choose from but these were the ones that stood out to me the most. If you guys know of any awesome meal prep places in your area please let me know. We are always up for trying new things!
